There was a time where I wasn’t too sensitive to know when God was speaking, or arranging things in my favor. For the last three years, God has been showing off in my life in a very intentional way. When I accepted the invitation of Pastor David and Nancy to attend their first mentoring retreat, I felt it was an invitation from God. The retreat exceeded my expectations! Being in a mountain without cell access was challenging, but a blessing in the end. Everything was planned with intention and purpose. The opportunity to meet other men and women in the ministry was great. The way the retreat was set up, asking the attendees to take turns to prepare the meals, was genius! We were able to serve together, worship together, and receive great teaching, but the better part was to be able to open up our hearts to share situations we all understood because we were all going through similar ones. We laughed, we cried, and we connected in a way I didn’t think would be possible. At the Upper Room that David and Nancy set up, I was able to sit and hear God's voice giving direction for 2024. I recommend this experience and respite retreat to every Pastor! I came back renewed, focused and excited for the plan for 2024. Thank you David and Nancy for your awesome service!

La experiencia de tener un tiempo de descanso en medio del ejercicio Pastoral nos fortaleció. Estuvimos tres días con mi esposa en medio de la naturaleza, el campamento estuvo muy apropiado la casa donde estuvimos acogedora y con todo lo necesario para pasar tiempo de descanso. La organización del evento fue muy apropiada, aprendimos, refrescamos conocimientos y fuimos ministrados. El compartir con otros pastores que viven las mismas circunstancias nuestras fue de gran bendición. A través de las conferencias, pudimos ser más conscientes de que el agotamiento muchas veces viene sin que nos demos cuenta, aprender estrategias sencillas y divertidas nos ayudó a despejar la mente y traer descanso. Recargarnos en este tiempo nos llenó de esperanza y ánimo al saber que Dios sigue al tanto de las necesidades de sus Pastores y que está interesado en darnos descanso. Orar por las necesidades de otros Pastores y ver que tienen necesidades similares a las nuestras trajo descanso de la vergüenza que muchas veces tenemos, porque nos cuestionamos acerca de estas circunstancias que creemos que no les pasan a los ungidos del Señor, pero pudimos entender que seguimos siendo seres humanos con problemas comunes y que El Señor sigue trabajando en cada uno. Cabe anotar que todo lo que se ofreció en este tiempo fue apropiado, las comidas bien planeadas, las conferencias y tiempos de descanso estratégicamente programados. Estamos agradecidos con Dios y los Pastores Zayas, quienes se dejaron usar en esta iniciativa.

We are so grateful; first, to God and the Zayas for delivering such a powerful and refreshing event this past weekend. (Pastoral wellness). As the Presbyter for the TN Section of the Spanish Eastern District of the Assemblies of God, both my wife and I, expressed our gratitude to the Missionaries Nancy and David Zayas, whom are appointed to the Church Mobilization Department of the General Council of the Assemblies of God in the US. The Zayas ministered us, in a moment of urgent need in the pastoral leadership of our Section. Both my wife and I, plus the 14 pastoral couples from the Tennessee Section, were very blessed, strengthened and motivated to continue ministering, and serving with the assignment God has given us. To God be glory and honor!. As Presbyter and part of the executive council for the Spanish Eastern District, I'd like to make my recommendation to continue supporting and empowering the Zayas' pastoral ministry throughout our organization. They are doing an excellent job!

Ministerio Zayas - estamos muy agradecidos al Señor nuestro Dios y a cada uno de ustedes por el gran amor que han mostrado por cada uno de los pastores, pastoras y líderes de las Iglesias de la Zona Central. No podemos olvidar del Ministerio 180° Cambiando Comunidades en la Persona los Misioneros Freddy y Terisa Vazquez que son los intermediarios para que la Zona Central pueda recibir esta gran bendición. Queridos misioneros, necesitan saber lo especial que fueron y son para nosotros como zona central, han impactado nuestras vidas, Dios les usó para volver a encender esa llama en el corazón de cada uno de sus siervos, el trabajo que han hecho estos días que estuvieron por Paraguay fue de mucha bendición y estamos seguro que tendrá un impacto hasta la eternidad, para nuestras vidas, matrimonios, familias, y la congregación donde cada uno realiza su labor, tengan por seguro que lo que nosotros hagamos en este país sirviendo a nuestro Señor, ustedes serán parte de las cosechas y recompensa en este mundo y mucho más en el mundo venidero. Gracias Misioneros porque ahora podemos testimoniar que han sido enviado por el Señor a Paraguay, porque hemos escuchado hermosos testimonios de los pastores y líderes después del RECREO PASTORAL, infinitamente agradecemos al Señor por la estadía de cada uno de ustedes, ahora el desafío queda en cada uno de nosotros, ahora estamos obligados a seguir avanzando para escribir grande el nombre de Jesús en esta nación de Paraguay y el mundo.
